Better Communities – For All Seniors

We build our retirement residences in the middle of urban neighbourhoods – not on the outskirts of the city. Why? Because we want to make an impact in the local community and contribute positively to seniors’ lives.

We partner with community groups that strengthen the cultural, social and intellectual fabric of our neighbourhoods. These community organizations and programs reflect our desire to affect change so that all seniors can lead active, fulfilling lives.

Haitian Earthquake Relief

Residents of The Summerhill, The Mulberry, the Staff, and Pacific Arbour Retirement Communities have shown their support for all those affected by the January 12, 2010 earthquake in Haiti. So many Haitians were left without food, water, shelter, or medical support. In a coordinated effort with the Canadian Red Cross; the residents of The Summerhill came together to donate an amazing $6600, The Mulberry residents with $7107, and the staff contributed $1125. All these donations were matched by Pacific Arbour Retirement Communities, as well as, an additional $10,000. Just two weeks after the disaster, the Red Cross was delivered cheques totaling $39,664 for the Haitian relief effort. The Canadian Government has offered to match all these donations.
